Competition ticket

A competition ticket gives participants the opportunity to compete for prizes and have their results certified by FRÍ (Icelandic Athletic Federation). The finishing time can also be used to register for other competitive races abroad.

The race will take place on August 22nd 2026. Please note that the schedule may change as the event approaches.

Race Day Schedule (subject to change):

07:00 - Information Center opens
07:00 - Bag Storage opens
08:15 - Competition tickets in Marathon and Half Marathon - Start
09:00 - General tickets in Marathon and Half Marathon - Start
09:45 - Competition tickets in 10 km - Start
10:30 - General tickets in 10 km - Start
11:30 - Warm-up for Fun Run begins
12:00 - Fun Run - Start

Timing will stop at 15:30. Runners who reach the finish line after that time will not receive an official result.

It is extremely important to start in the correct heat. Those that do not start at the correct time will be disqualified and will not get their time registered.
